John Wick 3 Movie Quick Story Line
John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019) picks up immediately after the events of the second film. John Wick is on the run with a $14 million bounty on his head after breaking the cardinal rule by killing Santino D’Antonio on the neutral grounds of the Continental Hotel. With every assassin in the world after him, John has to fight for survival while seeking a way to escape his precarious situation.
John seeks help from old allies, including Sofia, a former assassin and friend, and The Director, the leader of a secretive group known as the Ruska Roma. Along the way, he navigates a series of deadly confrontations as he tries to find a way to lift the bounty and clear his name.
The film climaxes with John returning to New York and teaming up with Winston, the manager of the Continental, to fend off an attack by the High Table’s forces. However, in the end, Winston seemingly betrays John, shooting him to regain the Continental’s status. Severely injured, John is rescued by the Bowery King, who proposes an alliance against the High Table, setting the stage for the next chapter.
